Dr. Craig Pettey
Dr. Craig Pettey is a general dentist practicing orthodontics. He has had extensive training with over twenty years of practicing orthodontics. He is a member of the American Orthodontic Society and other local and national dental organizations. He has helped hundreds of adults, teenagers and children have straighter teeth. He has been recognized for his commitment to dentistry and continuing education. He has been awarded the recognition of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This recognition has been awarded to only one percent of his dental peers.
Early in his dental career Dr. Pettey recognized deficiencies in the standard of care being delivered to orthodontic patients. This perked his interests in orthodontics and smile design. He fulfilled these interests through further education and training in different philosophies of straightening teeth. Now, today, these philosophies are widely accepted by general dentists and orthodontists alike. The resulting smiles of patients treated with the expansion philosophy have greatly improved smiles created today.
As a general dentist practicing orthodontics, Dr. Pettey has the back ground and experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry to create great smiles. A great smile is the result of straight white teeth, healthy gums and skin, full lips and classic profiles. Each of these characteristics requires principles of beauty collaborating to create an appealing smile. Dr. Pettey has the understanding of these principles to be able to work with other professionals, when needed, to perfect one’s smile.
Dr. Pettey and his wife, Nann, have three children and seven grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and spoiling their little ones. The children are spread from out from Italy to Singapore. The family enjoys many sports. Their accomplishments range from championship teams to hole-in-ones to marathons and triathlons. Photography has become a necessary hobby in order to capture and preserve the fun being experienced.
